Michael Cureton’s prostate cancer journey began in 2018 after a routine exam led to an MRI, biopsy, and early diagnosis. For several years, he stayed committed to regular checkups as his care team closely monitored changes in his PSA. When his PSA began to rise, Michael faced each next step — additional scans, biopsies, hormone treatment, steroids, and radiation — with courage and trust in his medical team. Thankfully, further testing confirmed that the cancer remained in the prostate area and was not aggressive. In January 2026, Michael completed 28 radiation treatments, marking a powerful milestone in his journey of resilience, hope, and healing.
