Emily Wilson is a hairstylist and artist based in Greenville, South Carolina. A graduate of Converse College with a degree in Interior Design, her life has always revolved around one thing: making the world a little more beautiful. Whether she’s behind the chair making clients feel their best, painting portraits and animals on canvas, or helping transform the spaces people live in, Emily finds joy in bringing happiness into people’s lives.
Fresh off turning 50 in April, Emily decided this was the year to step outside her comfort zone and do something that genuinely scared her.
When she was asked to participate in Sync for Survivors, the cause made saying yes easy. A couple of years ago, she watched her close friend Elena lose her daughter Laila to cancer — a loss that was devastating and deeply personal. She has also walked alongside clients who have faced cancer, some still fighting and some no longer here. For Emily, this isn’t just a fundraiser — it’s personal.
