Annalynn is a Greenville girl and longtime supporter of the Cancer Survivors Park, inspired by her parents, Jean and Art Baiden, who were part of the initial capital campaign committee. She has served on the CSPA board for over six years and is currently the Secretary of the Executive Committee, with a focus on growing the endowment named in her parents’ honor.
In order to support her shopping habits, Annalynn is the Vice President of BuildWell Health, a virtual platform that bridges the gap between inaction and mental health treatment by making it accessible and approachable. When not toiling away at work, she is a rabid football fan (especially regarding her alma mater – GO TIGERS), loves travel, is a needlepointer, true crime junkie, and a foodie. She is also attempting to learn mahjong (lots of rules!).
Although she frequently serenades and has dance parties with her “children” (Gertrude, a German Wirehaired Pointer and Otis, a Wirehaired Dachshund), strutting her stuff on stage at Sync for Survivors 2025 will be a new and terrifying experience. Fortunately, she will have lifelong friend Brett and newest BFF Susan by her side so the fun will be guaranteed! Annalynn will be competing in memory of her crazy, fun-loving husband, Jimmy, who passed away in 2019 from rectal cancer, and her beautiful Southern Belle mama, Jean, who succumbed to breast cancer in 2020. She also sends shout-outs to her sister-in-law, Lesha Nix and countless precious friends who continue to fight the good fight. Keep it up!
