Brett grew up in Greenville. He graduated from Clemson University and he’s known to host a spirited tailgate party as “his blood runs orange!” He has 35 years of Telecommunications experience, mostly in senior leadership roles with Verizon.
He enjoys working out, running, hot yoga, karaoke, laughing and hanging with friends and family, spending time outside (preferably with a dog), and traveling (especially to the beach.)
Brett is dedicating his performance (or attempt at one) to honor his beautiful Mom, Jancie Austin-Daily, who was a beacon of light and love. She spiritedly fought lung cancer and passed away in 2008. He credits her for teaching him what he calls “love’s lessons”, i.e., loving your family, friends and dogs, having a strong work ethic and loving, trusting and having faith in Jesus.
He is prioritizing giving back, focusing on fellowship and serving others in the community. And, he’s excited to be performing with one of his life-long friends, Annalynn.
He feels truly blessed and honored for the opportunity to help celebrate the lives of friends and family who have been touched by cancer!
