Leigh Savage is the executive editor of TOWN and atHome magazines. She is a graduate of Furman University and the University of South Carolina, where she earned a master’s degree in journalism and mass communications.
She is married to Mike, a chief architect for a software company, and has two “kids” — Audrey, who recently graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina, and Mac, who just graduated from Greenville Technical Charter High School. In her free time, she loves traveling, reading, running, SPENGA, and mindless reality television.
A former “theater kid” who loved to get on stage, she is excited to compete in a lip sync competition that allows her to perform without actually singing.
While fortunate to not have firsthand experience with cancer in her immediate family, she’s seen friends and relatives go through various battles with loved ones, and has witnessed the toll it can take. She is honored to raise awareness and funds for such a worthy cause.
